General booking conditions

Terms of payment:
Bookings will only be accepted if a deposit of 25% of the total amount is sent at the time of the confirmation. Full payment must be made 21 days before arrival.

Cancellations:

  1. No cancellation charges until 31 days before arrival
  2. 25% of full amount for cancellation 30-22 days before arrival
  3. 50% of full amount for cancellation 21-15 days before arrival
  4. 75% of full amount for cancellation 14-08 days before arrival
  5. 100% of full amount for cancellation 07-00 days before arrival

Complaints:
If a problem arises, it should be reported to us as soon as possible so that efforts can be made to rectify it to the client’s satisfaction. We can deal with most problems in resort, therefore we regret we can not accept any liability in respect of any complaint not notified to us immediately in the resort.

Changes:
In the event that circumstances beyond our control will force us to make significant changes or your booking, like a different hotel and/or resort, our liability is limited to refund all money paid to us, should the clients decide not to accept the change.   
For bookings which include entrance tickets to concerts, theatre, opera or similar, all tickets and services have to be paid in advance; in the event of cancellation, we cannot guarantee that we can resell the tickets and refund the money. The advance-sale fee (15%) will be not refunded in any case.
In case of booking of particular services (es. Wedding services) all services have to be prepaid and, in case of cancellation, not all of them will be refund.

Weddings:
Couples planning to get married in Italy must attend to the various legal and other formalities which are required by both their local and Italian civil and /or church authorities for foreign/overseas visitors marrying in Italy.
Sole responsibility for all legal and formal documentation lies with the couple who are to be married. Melsinea Viaggi will not be responsible for ensuring the documentation has been obtained nor its correctness.
